Going Crazy

There's a story about how to boil a frog. If you want to boil a frog, you boil water and throw the frog in...wrong. The frog will just jump out of the hot water. What you do, is put the frog in a pan of cool water and turn up the heat gradually...the frog will not notice until it is cooked. This story is applicable to humans in various ways, most noticeable is waking up to find you have too many events going on and instead of completing any, you really complete none. So that's me..the boiled frog. I must step back and resolve to take on one issue at a time until I get caught up. How many of us can relate to the boiled frog, I don't know, but I would imagine its quite a few of us.

St. Patty's Day

Cleveland does throw a pretty good St. Patty's Day event, but it still doesn't compare to what goes on in Savannah, Georgia. That place gets downright wild.

While I'm writing, here in Cleveland they have the Inner Belt bridge which becomes quite congested in the mornings. One thing they should consider is banning big trucks from that route during rush hour. Its bad enough with just cars, but the trucks get out there and it really becomes the wild west. Lets do something about it!

Recent Happenings

Desperately wanted to write today, but everything has been unusually quiet in my life. School is moving forward, interesting classes, but quite demanding. I need to refocus on the classes as a high priority, otherwise the homework starts to drag. The weather in Cleveland keeps changing, from day to day you never know what to expect, I am ready for it to be warm and stay that way for a while. What about this port operation deal the government is looking at? Isn't that just absolute bull? As it has only been a few years since 9-11 and the Patriot Act was just renewed, don't you think we might want to wait a few more years before inviting an Arab company in. The company may very well be legitimate, but I have to believe most Americans would see this as too soon after the attacks to do this. Makes me wonder if people were really paying attention when the company bought that British business enterprise and placed it in a position to operate US ports. I just don't know what to think anymore.
